The ISKCON Marriage Board is a group of senior devotees appointed to help devotees find suitable partners within Krishna consciousness, and to protect them while they do.
What the Board is responsible for
Reading every bio-data in full before it is published, including the confidential section. Deciding whether it is ready. Releasing contact details when two devotees have both expressed interest. Acting on reports of improper conduct.
Why every bio-data passes through them
Because the alternative is a public listing of single devotees, their photographs and their telephone numbers, which is what this platform exists not to be.
Boards and centres
Some centres have their own Board; elsewhere the national Board reviews. Your counselor will tell you which applies to you.
